Dr. David Wells

Dr. Wells is the head of the Foothills Dental Associates clinical staff. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1975 with honors and received a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He went on to graduate from Emory University Dental School in 1979. Since graduating, he has been an Associate Professor at the Medical College of Georgia and maintains his membership with the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Wells was in private practice for 22 years in Snellville, GA with his wife, Marsha Wells, his hygienist. They moved to Big Canoe in 2001 and have been practicing at Foothills Dental Assocaites since its opening in May of 2003.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Wells contributes his time and expertise in volunteering at the Good Samaritan Clinic every month. In their spare time Dr. Wells and Marsha enjoy playing golf, boating and spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Dr. David Lindow

David L. Lindow, DDS, graduated from the University of Michigan in 1976, and the University Of Detroit School Of Dentistry in 1980. David operated a successful fee-for-service clinic in the Ozark Mountains between 1980 and 1982, while serving in the National Health Service Corps. In 1982, David opened a new dental practice in a tiny rural town of just 1,200 residents in southwestern Michigan and was so successful that he invited his brother, Dr. William Lindow, to join him in 1990.

During that decade he also increased his knowledge by participating in a mini Oral Surgery Residency at the University of Missouri, trained at the Dawson Institute in Advanced Occlusal Concepts, and completed a residency in Orthodontics from Dr. Richard Litt from the University of Detroit.

His vast knowledge of the industry encompasses Restorative dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Orthodontics, Periodontal Therapy Programs, and Oral Surgery. The last several years have found Dr. Lindow increasing his knowledge of surgery and dental implants by completing a residency in Miami Florida with Dr. Nilo Hernandez, concentrating on bone grafting, sinus lifts, third molar extractions, a-traumatic extractions, plastic oral surgery, Implant prosthetics, as well as CAT Scan diagnosis of the head and neck.

David's passion in life is to give people back the ability to eat and smile with confidence and enjoyment using his vast knowledge in implant dentistry. He is truly committed to the “Baby Boomer” generation and addressing their particular needs as they age.

Dr. Lindow is also a consultant and national lecturer. He began his dental consulting career with a national consulting company in 1998 and then founded Lindow Leadership Consulting in 2005. David lectures nationally and has shared his business/clinical expertise with over 300 offices for the past 8 years.

His interests include furniture making, golfing and is a history buff, reading early American history, studying the U.S. Constitution and the intent of our founding fathers in building this great country. Dr. Lindow as a special place in his heart for those who have served this great country in the military and when you meet him please let him know if you served.

Dr. Lindow is married and has six children that are all grown up. He and his wife are typical “empty nesters and have turned their attention to their beautiful grandchildren and their two dogs Ethel Mertz and Little Rickey Ricardo. He will be more than willing to show you pictures of them if you ask. Now a resident of Blue Ridge, Georgia, he and his wife Jannine are active in the community spending time with the Blue Ridge Mountain Art Association, and the local Humane Society, and the Rotary Club of Jasper. He is a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst, a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implants (ICOI), and is a member of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants, Speakers Consulting Network, American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association.
